This Privacy Policy explains how Shyamashish Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Shyamashish Group mobile application and website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Who This Applies To
The Service is used by two groups: property buyers who browse projects and submit enquiries, and associates / brokers who log in to manage leads, bookings, site visits, and commissions. The data we handle differs by group, as described below.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information (associates): name, mobile number, designation, and a password. Mobile numbers are stored encrypted and passwords are stored as one-way hashes — never in plain text.
- Enquiry & lead information: name and phone number submitted by buyers or entered by associates for their leads.
- Booking information: customer name, contact, plot/unit details, and payment status.
- KYC / identity documents: to complete a property booking we may collect the customer’s Aadhaar number, PAN number, and photographs of these documents, along with the customer’s address. These government identifiers are sensitive personal data, are provided by the customer for the booking, are stored securely, and are used only to process and verify that booking.
- Site-visit information: when an associate logs a visit, we may record the device’s location and any photos they choose to attach.
- Technical data: basic device and connection information needed to operate the app (e.g. network state for offline handling).
3. Device Permissions
The app requests the following permissions, used only for the stated purpose:
- Camera: to let you capture and attach photos to bookings or site visits. Used only when you actively choose to add a photo.
- Location (precise): to tag the location of a site visit when an associate logs one. Used only at that moment, not in the background.
- Internet & network state: to load the app and detect connectivity for offline handling.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To operate the Service — authenticate associates, manage leads, bookings, site visits, and commission calculations.
- To respond to buyer enquiries and connect them with our sales team.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and keep audit records of sensitive actions.
5. How Your Information Is Stored & Shared
Data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) infrastructure, with access controls and transport encryption (HTTPS). Sensitive fields such as phone numbers are encrypted at rest and passwords are hashed. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g. hosting and database providers) under appropriate safeguards, or where required by law.
6. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Account & Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Associate accounts are created and managed by Shyamashish Group. To request deletion of your account and data, see our Account & Data Deletion page, or email shyamashish.cdpl@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request” from your registered mobile number or email. We will process verified requests within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to retain.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
